RAGE ASIA 2020, Asia's premier international e-sports tournament, will be held on August 29 and 30! Adopted titles are Apex Legends and Wilderness Actions!

CyberZ, Avex Entertainment, and TV Asahi, the organizers of Japan's largest e-sports event "RAGE," have announced that the e-sports international tournament "RAGE ASIA 2020" will be held over two days on August 29 and 30, 2020.

RAGE ASIA 2020" will be the largest international e-sports tournament in the history of "RAGE," inviting famous teams, top players, and other talented players from Asia to compete in "the best of the best in Asia.


Two titles will be selected for the tournament: "Apex Legends," a globally popular battle royale game, and "KNIVES OUT-Knives Out," a TPS battle royale game for smartphones that has exploded in popularity.


In light of the recent spread of the new coronavirus infection in Japan, the tournament will be held online. Teams and players will compete online from the comfort of their own homes. Viewers will be able to watch the matches live on OPENREC.tv and other streaming platforms.


An updated version of V-RAGE, a system that allows players to watch matches and experience events in VR, will be available for this tournament. The updated version allows users to choose avatars and outfits, and to enjoy voice chatting with friends and colleagues using the "Group Viewing Function".
