Namco Bandai Entertainment, Inc. has announced that the Japanese taiko rhythm game "Taiko Drum Master Nintendo Switch BAJONG! the first official online competition in the "Taiko Drum Master" series! Taiko Drum Master eSports Online Tournament! will be held from June 22, 2020 (Monday).

Taiko Drum Master" is a taiko rhythm game that can be played simply by beating the taiko to the rhythm of the music. Since its debut on arcade game consoles in 2001, the game has been widely deployed in home video game software and smartphone game applications, and is so popular that it surpassed 10 million units sold last year in 2019.


The "Taiko Drum Master" series has now become an e-sports event that can be played from the comfort of one's own home.
