Around 16:00 on June 12, 2020, Yui Makino announced her marriage via Twitter and her official blog. Her partner is Yutaro Miura, a singer-songwriter whose parents are Tomokazu Miura and Momoe Yamaguchi, and who also wrote the ending theme for "Evil Girl Dropkick" (first season).

He also joined the family on June 12, and his blog contains a comment and photo announcing his joint name.
