Around 16:00 on June 12, 2020, Yui Makino announced her marriage via Twitter and her official blog. Her partner is Yutaro Miura, a singer-songwriter whose parents are Tomokazu Miura and Momoe Yamaguchi, and who also wrote the ending theme for "Evil Girl Dropkick" (first season).

He also joined the family on June 12, and his blog contains a comment and photo announcing his joint name.

"We hope to join forces in the future and build a happy family in our own way," commented the couple, who will continue to work as usual.

Yui Makino began her career as a child actress at the age of 3, and made her voice acting debut in 2005 as Sakura, the heroine of "Tsubasa Chronicle. Since then, she has been active as a voice actress and artist.
