Action RPG "Bloodstained" Ships & Downloads More Than 1 Million Units Worldwide! Roadmap for new game modes, special collaborations, and more to commemorate the milestone!

Following the worldwide shipments and downloads of the currently available action RPG "Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night" (Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night [hereinafter Bloodstained]) surpassing one million units, 505 Games and studio ArtPlay has released a roadmap for free updates to the game.


Bloodstained" is an action RPG set in 18th century England, where players take control of Miriam, the main character, and explore a vast castle while battling various enemies in order to defeat the summoner, Gebel. This is the first game by Koji Igarashi, the creator of the "Castlevania" series and other titles, after becoming independent.


According to the released roadmap, downloadable content will be distributed in multiple installments, with the first installment scheduled for Tuesday, June 23, 2020. A "Boss Revenge Mode," in which players fight four bosses and compete for time to defeat them, and a "Color Change Function," which allows players to customize their hair, skins, and costume colors, will be implemented. All downloadable contents, including this one, are available for free as long as you have the main version of the game.
