PS4/Switch "Metal Max Xeno Reborn" unveils revamped visuals of main character Taris and other characters.

Kadokawa Games has released new character visuals for "Metal Max Xeno Reborn," the latest installment in the "Metal Max" series.

The game is based on "Metal Max Xeno," which was released in April 2018. With the introduction of a new game engine, the graphics are more beautiful and almost every element in the game has been tweaked, including tank modifications and battles.

The newly released visuals of the characters have been revamped. There are a total of 10 characters, including the main character Taris, her childhood friend Yokkie, and the heroine Toni. Please take a look at them below to get a better idea of what they look like in their new incarnations.

Everything is "reborn" in appearance and content! Character visuals have been completely revamped!

Since this work has been reborn with all new 3D graphics and systems, the visuals of the characters have also been completely renewed. Based on the characters from the previous "Metal Max Xeno" game, the new visuals, remade with a fin-de-siècle feel by Takeshi Ogawa, an illustrator who also created concept art for "GRAVITY DAZE" and other games, will be used to match the new worldview, which has undergone a more hardcore transformation.

The main character "Talis" is a mysterious young man with a mysterious mechanical prosthetic arm. Jocky" is a young man born and raised in Ironbase, which is separated from the world below, and has a genius talent as a mechanic. The heroine "Toni," who was rescued from a monster that had stolen her beloved father and the safe haven she had arrived at after wandering for years.

Dylan, a gang leader, vows revenge after his men are killed by monsters. Maria" is an immortal female warrior who has kept her promise to her friends and has been protecting an important facility in solitude. Misaki, a mysterious young man who boasts a wealth of scientific knowledge, including medical care as a medic, as well as good looks that could easily pass for female. Itika, a beautiful subhuman girl with a tail who used to be an actor. All are reliable companions who help the protagonist.

Po M" is a cool android who provides advice to the heroes while they are exploring the dangerous world of Destochio. Jingoro" is a passionate mechanic who loves tanks and devotes his life to modifying cars. Danunzio, a strong and loyal ex-military man who also works as a bartender at the Ironbase's relaxing bar.

As a bonus content after clearing the game, a function to switch to the character visuals of the old "Metal Max Xeno" is also implemented!

After the ending of the first game, players can switch to the old "Metal Max Xeno" character visuals designed by Mr. Non Oda in the second game.
