The official tournament for the tactical shooter "VALORANT" was already held at "RAGE," one of the largest e-sports events in Japan! 16 strong teams from Japan will participate!

CyberZ, Avex Entertainment, and TV Asahi, the operator of the e-sports event "RAGE," announced today that the official tournament for the tactical shooter "VALORANT" ("Valorant"), which was just officially released on June 2, 2020, "RAGE VALORANT Japan Invitational" will be held on June 20 (Sat.) and 21 (Sun.), 2020, in an online format.

Vallorant" is a new game by RIAT Games, the game studio behind "League of Legends (LoL)," and is a tactical FPS that pits players against each other in 5-on-5 battles. Players can enjoy highly tactical shootouts that combine characters with unique abilities and a variety of guns. The game also emphasizes competitiveness, and the maps have been designed so that players can always experience a fresh battle no matter how long they play. In addition, a high-quality dedicated server has been installed to improve the performance of all players playing the game up to 128 fps. The movement of players experiencing lag is smoothed out, minimizing the impact of the state of the Internet connection on the winners and losers of the shootout.

The "RAGE VALORANT JAPAN INVITATIONAL" tournament to be held this time is the first official "Valorant" tournament in Japan.
