Square Enix will release "KINGDOM HEARTS Melody of Memory," the first rhythm action game in the "Kingdom Hearts" series, for PlayStation 4 / Nintendo Switch / Xbox One It will be released in 2020. The release date of the new smartphone app "KINGDOM HEARTS Dark Road" and the original soundtrack of "KINGDOM HEARTS III" were also announced.

The "KINGDOM HEARTS" series is a popular role-playing game series produced by Disney and Square Enix, and since the first title "KINGDOM HEARTS" (compatible with PlayStation 2) was released in March 2002, there have been 12 titles (20 titles including the final mix version). The series celebrated its 15th anniversary in March 2017, and has become a popular series that has shipped and sold more than 32 million units worldwide.

KINGDOM HEARTS Melody of Memory" will be the first rhythm action game in the "Kingdom Hearts" series.

Many characters from the "KINGDOM HEARTS" series will appear as playable characters. In some stages, Disney characters will appear as guest members and lend their help. The game features songs from the "Kingdom Hearts" series as well as Disney songs, with over 140 songs included in the game.

■"KINGDOM HEARTS Dark Road" distribution date to be determined
In addition, the smartphone application "KINGDOM HEARTS Dark Road" will begin distribution on June 22 (Mon.), 2020.

KINGDOM HEARTS Dark Road" is a new smartphone app that tells the story of how Master Zealot, an important character in the "KINGDOM HEARTS" series, became a seeker of darkness.

In this title, players take on the role of Zea Note in his land of "Skala ad Caelum" to become a Keyblade Master. The 30-card deck allows players to enjoy "Reflex x Flick x Exhilaration" strategy battles and stress-free play without the tedious synthesis and evolution process. Complete the Enemy Diagram Book.

This title can be selected and played from the title screen after updating the "KINGDOM HEARTS Union χ [Cross]" app (compatible with iOS and Android), which is currently available. This allows users to enjoy two types of games with a single app.

Furthermore, the long-awaited "KINGDOM HEARTS III" soundtrack will be released in the fall of 2020. Details on the tracks and price will be announced at a later date.

In addition, the second KINGDOM HEARTS lottery, "KINGDOM HEARTS ~Second Memory~," will be released in early November 2020. The lineup includes the Keyblade Charm Collection, which was popular in the first lottery, as well as statues, plush toys, cutlery, and more. The price is 750 yen (tax included) per set.
