Run a café with Pokémon! Puzzle game "Pokémon Café Mix" for Switch/Smartphone available today, June 24! Free to play

Pokémon Inc. launched "Pokémon Café Mix" for Nintendo Switch and smartphones (iOS/Android compatible) for download today, June 24, 2020. Basic play is free, with some items charged.

Pokémon Café Mix" is a new type of puzzle game that allows players to "connect the dots. Players take on the role of the manager of a café where Pokémon gather, and together with Pokémon, create food and drinks using puzzles to entertain Pokémon customers.

In conjunction with the release of the game, a "login bonus" has started, which players can receive for the first 10 days after starting the game. After receiving the bonus for 10 days, players can get "Nakayoshi Tart," an item that raises the friendship level between Pokémon, items that can be used in puzzles, and a total of 5,000 golden acorns, the game's in-game currency. The "golden acorns" can be used to continue an unsuccessful order or to exchange for items that can be used in puzzles.

Other useful packs will also be available, such as the "Pikachu Support Pack" (490 yen including tax), which allows you to staff Pikachu "Pikachu Sweets" in a special costume, 4,900 "Golden Acorns" and three items of three different types, each useful for solving puzzles.

In addition, Hibaney will appear as a customer in the "Special Customer" event scheduled to start on July 1 (Wed.). If you offer food to Hibaney, you can raise your friendship level with her, and if you max out your friendship level during the event, you can make her a staff member of the cafe. The event will last until Wednesday, July 15.

Two "Kuru Kuru" themed web videos are now available for viewing!
Two web videos were released to coincide with the launch of the "Pokémon Café Mix," one of which features a woman who spends her rest time on the sofa, "Kururu Kururu" (Why don't you change your mood?), and the other features a woman who spends her rest time on the sofa, "Kururu Kururu" (Why don't you change your mood?). The other features a Pokémon motif. The other is the "Kuru Kuru Kurutta Mood Changer Cooking Application" featuring a number of dishes with Pokémon motifs.

■"Pokémon Café Mix" original Nintendo-Prepaid card is now available!
The "Pokémon Café Mix" designed "Nintendo Prepaid Card 1,500 yen" will go on sale sequentially at game retailers and convenience stores nationwide (excluding some stores) from June 29 (Mon.). The card comes with a serial code to obtain 2,000 golden acorns.

The 1,500 yen Nintendo prepaid card can be used for the Nintendo Switch version of "Pokémon Café Mix"; it cannot be used for the iOS or Android versions.
The 2,000 Golden Acorns can be received at the Nintendo Switch version of Pokémon Café Mix, but not for the iOS or Android versions.
