Free for basic play! Ninjara, an action game for the Switch, will be available today, June 25!

Gungho Online Entertainment has released the downloadable version of the action game "Ninjara" for Nintendo Switch today, Thursday, June 25, 2020. Basic play is free.

Ninjara" is a fighting action game based on the world of Ninja x Chanbara, where players can enjoy transformable actions using a gum called "Ninja Gum".

Players can enjoy 3D action battles on stages where they can move freely in any direction, using weapons and ninjutsu. In addition, by inflating "Ninja Gum," players can move at high speeds and unleash a variety of attacks. A wide variety of avatar costumes allow players to customize their own unique characters.

The game can also be played as a battle royale with up to eight players or as a four-player versus four-player team battle. The online battles do not require a subscription to "Nintendo Switch Online".

■A campaign to commemorate the distribution of the game is being held!
To celebrate the launch of the downloadable version of "Ninjara," a campaign to commemorate the distribution of the game started today, June 25, 2012. All players who download the downloadable version of "Ninjara" and log in will receive 100 Jalas of in-game currency. The campaign will last until 10:59 pm on Thursday, August 27, 2012.

■"Ninjara Season 1" Begins

The "Ninjara Pass," which offers various rewards when purchased, is available at the in-game store, 950 Jara, from today. The Ninjara Pass can be conveniently used when participating in Ninjara Season 1.

■"Ninjara Story Pack Volume 1" is now on sale.
Ninjara Story Pack Volume 1", additional content for the single player "Story Mode", was also released on the Nintendo eShop.

In the first "Ninjara Story Pack Volume 1," players will be able to obtain limited costumes and "Ninja Medals" as rewards for completing the story and defeating enemies. Ninja Medals" are necessary to develop "Shinobi Cards," which are the key to battle, and to strengthen your character.

Ninjara Story Pack Volume 1" is normally priced at 1,100 yen (including tax), but to celebrate the release of "Ninjara," it will be on sale for a limited time at 495 yen (including tax) until 23:59 on Wednesday, July 15, 2012.

The theme song "Ninjaribanban Steve Aoki Remix" is now available.
In addition, "NINJARIBANBANBAN Steve Aoki Remix," a remix of Kyary Pamyu Pamyu's hit song "NINJARIBANBAN" by Steve Aoki, is now available for worldwide distribution and streaming. This song is the theme song for the "Ninjara" short cartoon animation currently available on the web, and will also be used in the "Ninjara" game.

A music video featuring a mash-up of the game world and Kyary Pamyu Pamyu has also been released. The music video features the characters of "Ninjara" dancing to the choreography of "Ninjaribanban Steve Aoki Remix" and a special appearance by Steve Aoki himself.
