Introduction of "Neon Genesis GPX Cyber Formula

The next generation of motorsports, "Cyber Formula", is a competition with cars that incorporate cutting-edge technology, such as AI support, and speed and performance far surpassing that of F1.
Hayato Kazami, a 14-year-old boy whose father is a cyber system developer, is registered as a driver when he gets involved in a competition for a new machine, the Asrada, and ends up competing in the grueling Cyber Formula. Hayato sometimes learns from his teammates, rivals, and Aslada, and sometimes clashes with them as he competes in races. He grows as a racer and as a man.
The sequel OVA "Neon Genesis GPX Cyber Formula 11" was released in November 1992, about a year after the TV series was completed, and the OVA series has been released ever since.
