The demo version of the action RPG "Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered" is now available! Also, Final Trailer Released!

Square Enix has released the latest trailer for its PS4/Switch/iOS/Android title "Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered". In conjunction with this release, a demo version of the title, "Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Lite," will also be made available.

This title is a remastered version of the action RPG "Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles" released by Nintendo for the Nintendo GameCube in 2003. The game retains elements from that time, such as battles in which players act around a "crystal cage" and a "single mode" in which a support character, Mowgli, helps players in their adventures, but adds many additional elements, such as "imitation," which allows players to become the sub-characters in the story, online multiplayer, new dungeons and bosses, and more. The trailer shows the game's newest features, including a new dungeon and bosses.

In the trailer released this time, we can see the beautifully remastered world view and many of the elements included in this title. The narration in the video is by Yae, the artist who sang the theme song "Kazenone" and narrated the story.

In addition, a demo version of the game, "Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Lite" (PS4/Switch versions only), will be available on August 27 (Thursday). The game's opening and first year (three dungeons) can be played for free, and up to four players can play multiplayer in the dungeons. The saved data can be carried over to the full version of the game, and cross-play between the full version and the demo version is also supported. In addition, if a player who owns the full version of the game hosts an online multiplayer game, players of the demo version can play up to 13 dungeons together.
