Broadcasting finally starts on July 6! TV anime "Baki" Dai-suridai-sai-hen, episode 1 advance cut and synopsis have arrived!

The first episode of the TV anime "Baki" Dai-suridai-sai-hen, which will start airing on TOKYO MX1 and other stations from July 6, 2020 (Monday), has arrived with a synopsis and advance cuts.

The original "Baki" series serialized in "Weekly Shonen Champion" (Akita Shoten) is based on the epic battle between the youngest underground fighting champion, Baki Hanma, and his father, Yujiro Hanma, who is called "the strongest creature on earth". This popular fighting manga depicts the battles of various fighters, centered on the epic battle to the death between Baki and his father, Yujiro Hanma, who is called the "strongest creature on earth".


The most deadly death penalty version of the anime "Baki" was distributed on Netflix in 2018, followed by a TV broadcast in the same year, gaining popularity. The second season of "Baki" will be distributed on Netflix in June 2020, followed by a TV broadcast on July 6, 2020.


The second season will continue to be directed by Toshitaka Hirano and composed by Tatsuhiko Urahata, with TMS Entertainment in charge of animation production.

Episode 1 "Opening! The Great Suridai Sai" Synopsis
Ryu Ryukou's poisoned hand nearly kills Baki, and he is transported to China by Retsukaiou. However, even in his dying state, he is advised to participate in the "Great Suridai Sai," in which martial arts masters from all over China are gathered once every 100 years to decide the "Emperor of the Sea".
