The smartphone app "Yokai Watch World" is celebrating its 2nd anniversary since its launch! The "2nd Anniversary Event" is now being held with many contents including a campaign where you can get 100 "Yokai Balls" every week.

GungHo Online Entertainment will hold the "2nd Anniversary Event" from June 29, 2020 to commemorate the 2nd anniversary of the service launch of "Yokai Watch World," an application for smartphones currently being distributed.

This is the smartphone application version of the "Yokai Watch" series, an RPG in which the main character, who meets Whisper the "Yokai Butler" and obtains a "Yokai Watch," a watch that allows him to see Yokai, cooperates with various Yokai to solve people's problems and troubles. In this location-based exploration game, players search for yokai that appear throughout Japan and make friends with them.

On June 27, 2020, the game will celebrate its second anniversary since its launch. To coincide with this, a "2nd Anniversary Event" will be held in the title. The event will include a campaign in which users will receive 100 "Yokai Balls" for every week they log in, as well as a seal release event in which the "2nd Anniversary★Tomnyan", which is capable of SS evolution, will be released. If you log in during the 2nd anniversary event period, you will get 100 "Specter Balls" once a week as a 2nd anniversary Thanks Giving mailbox. This is a chance to get up to 900 pieces. In addition, if you log in to the game from June 27 (Sat.) to July 4 (Sat.), 2020, at 11:59 p.m., you will receive 100 "Specter Balls" as a one-time special post to commemorate the 2nd anniversary of the service launch, as well as 5 "Specter Balls" as a login bonus once daily during the event period. Four new yokai are now available!

Various new yokai will appear, including a seal release event to release the "2nd Anniversary★Tomnyan" (all S-rank yokai below), which can evolve to SS, a yokai battle featuring the boss yokai "Dekanyan," and a yokai descent quest to make friends with the "Fu2☆Star. You can also exchange "KK Bros. 2nd" for event points accumulated through battles and hiyoui.

Depending on the number of "2nd Anniversary Coins" collected during the "2nd Anniversary Event," all players will receive the new S-rank yokai "Escort Ikemen Inu" or "Monge S-Coin 2" as a present!

In addition to "Edokko Nyan" (Tokyo), 11 new "local Nyans" have been added to the lineup! On the occasion of the 2nd anniversary, "Gotochi Nyan" from all 47 prefectures are finally available.
