A seven-day countdown had been running on the teaser site from the decision of the animation to the release of detailed information, but today, July 7, 2020, during a special program on Anime Expo Lite, the online distribution service of Anime Expo 2020, the largest anime convention in North America, it was announced that the animation will be broadcast in 2021, and that the main staff will be involved in the production. The teaser visual and PV of the anime as well as detailed information such as the scheduled broadcast, main staff and cast were revealed.
