Initial D 25th Anniversary SHOP" will be held at Shibuya Loft and Umeda Loft!

An anniversary store "Initial D 25th Anniversary SHOP" commemorating the 25th anniversary of the serialization of "Initial D" will be held at Shibuya Loft on July 23, 2020 (Thursday, national holiday) from 11:00 am. Various original goods will be on sale, including goods illustrated by ink painter "Gokashira.

Initial D" is a motor sports comic drawn by Shuichi Shigeno that was serialized in Young Magazine from 1995 to 2013. The main character, Takumi Fujiwara, drives his father's car, a Sprinter Treno (AE86) called "Hachi Roku" (Hachi Roku), which he owns as a tofu shop, in downhill battles against other famous drivers in the Kanto region. The story of the racers' quest to be the "fastest on public roads" has been adapted into a wide range of media, including anime, film, and video games. A total of 50 million copies of the 48-volume series have been sold.

The anniversary store "Initial D 25th Anniversary SHOP" will be held at Shibuya Loft on July 23, 2020 (Thursday, national holiday) from 11:00 a.m. to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the "Initial D" series from the goods brand "Cocolab" developed by Caravan. Various original goods will be on sale, including goods illustrated by ink painter "Gokashira.

The goods on sale will include items illustrated in collaboration with ink painter "Gokashira," who drew the battle scene between HACHIROKU and FD, car accessories, practical goods for daily use, and items using SD characters, three of which have been newly added. Premium 25th anniversary goods will also be on display at the event. (*Reservations can be made on the website at a later date.)

In addition, new goods from "MF Ghost," currently being serialized in Young Magazine, will also be on sale.

The event will be held at Shibuya Loft on the 6th floor of Art & Culture from July 23 (Thu., holiday) to August 10 (Mon., holiday), 2020, and at Umeda Loft on the 5th floor of Variety goods from August 28 (Fri.) to September 13 (Sun.), 2020.
