A masterpiece of Japanese action RPG comes back to life! Ys Origin Special Edition" will be released this fall for PS4/Switch!

3goo Inc. has announced that "Ys Origin Special Edition", a package-only version of "Ys Origin" from the popular action RPG "Ys" series produced by Falcom Japan, will be released in the fall of 2020 for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. The "Ys" series was first introduced in 1987.

Ys" is a popular action RPG series that has been handed down from generation to generation since its birth in 1987. Ys Origin" is a prequel to "Ys" and takes place approximately 700 years before the adventures of the main character, Adol Christin. The "Ys Origin Special Edition" is a port of "Ys Origin" for PS4 and Switch, as well as a special retro-size boxed luxury edition inspired by the first limited edition package and bonus item, the official visual book, released by Nihon Falcom in 2006.
