D1-Lab Inc. (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Yuichi Kita, a wholly owned subsidiary of Brave group Inc. The "Brave Engine" is a virtual space engine for the "Brave Engine". The Brave Engine's virtual space provides a realistic user experience and communication functions to support student learning and interaction. In addition, we plan to offer a professional skill acquisition program based on the curriculum of "ME Campus" operated by D1-Lab.
Virtual School Building with Brave Engine
Communication Functions
Communication design is important for virtual spaces.
In the virtual school building provided by the Brave Engine, non-verbal expressions are possible through the free movement of avatars and emotive actions that take advantage of the 3D space.
This feature promotes natural communication by creating a sense of realism and immersion, and by compensating for pauses and atmosphere that cannot be conveyed through text or voice alone.
This functionality will be used in homerooms, interviews with students, and other remote communication.
Virtual Study Room to Support Learning
The "Virtual Study Room" was developed by D1-Lab to allow students to concentrate on their own study while being aware of others in the virtual space, in a form similar to that of a real study room.
The Virtual Self-Study Room supports self-directed learning through a time management function using a Pomodoro timer, an AI assistant function that provides consultation via chat, and a peer pressure effect that is stimulated by the efforts of those around them, all of which are unique to virtual learning.
These features motivate each student and support an effective and continuous learning experience.
Comment from Mr. Naoya Kamijo, Professor at Matsusho Gakuen
In the year 2025, Matsusho Gakuen will celebrate its 127th anniversary. During this time, the educational requirements of private schools have changed dramatically with the changing times. Currently, Japan is facing major social changes such as an accelerating birthrate decline and the post-Corona era, and a paradigm shift is required in school education. Not only students and families, but also schools and local communities as a whole are currently facing many challenges.
In order to solve these issues through the power of education, in April 2025, Matsusho Gakuen opened a new correspondence course on the Matsumoto University campus in collaboration with the university, based on the pillar of next-generation ICT education that is individually optimized to take advantage of individuality.
This correspondence course emphasizes encouraging independent learning according to each student's abilities and career plans. To achieve this, we have actively introduced DX-type education and adopted the "Brave Engine" to enhance learning support both on and off campus.
In addition to providing careful feedback in person, the Brave Engine also utilizes the Metaverse for home study, providing a virtual space where students can learn together with teachers and peers, thereby enabling continuous learning support. In addition, we can provide the same learning environment for students in both commuter and intensive courses for special and inquiry activities.
We are committed to "providing educational opportunities that leave no one behind" and "realizing a society that respects diversity" in order to develop new human resources that will support the local communities of the future. We will continue to contribute to the community, aiming to be a school that is needed by the times.

About the "ME Campus" Curriculum
As a future initiative of Matsushogakuen and D1-Lab, we plan to offer the ME Campus curriculum, an online learning program operated by D1-Lab, to students in the correspondence course and the full-time course.
The curriculum will be a restructured version of the existing ME Campus curriculum for high school students, and will aim to help them acquire the following specialized skills
Skills that can be acquired:
Practical CG modeling skills using VTuber models as subjects
Efficient presentation creation skills using generative AI
(*This is the curriculum that we are planning to offer at this time and is subject to change.
These curricula, which are in tune with the digital age, go beyond mere skill acquisition. We will provide students with opportunities to experience "how creators work" in the field of entertainment content so that each student can gain insights that will broaden his or her future options.
Through this special curriculum, we aim to provide an experience that will not only help students acquire skills, but also give them a chance to personalize their future by experiencing the real workflow.
