I-O Data's "GigaCrysta" LCD monitors, featuring super resolution technology and other features that symbolize the "Mitsubishi" lineage, are now available!
I-O Data debuted the GigaCrysta series of LCD monitors that employ the well-known "GigaCrysta Engine II" super-resolution technology that has been used in Mitsubishi Electric's LCD monitors.
Two products, the 23.8-inch frameless model LCD-RDT241XPB and the 27-inch framed model LCD-RDT271XPB, were released.
LCD monitors with AH-IPS panels. The LCD monitors feature familiar Mitsubishi Electric LCD monitor functions such as "GIGACLEAR Engine II," a super resolution technology that enables clear and smooth video display, and "PinP (Picture in Picture)" and "POP (Picture out Picture)," which allow two video inputs to be displayed simultaneously on a single screen. The new monitor features familiar functions of Mitsubishi Electric LCD monitors, such as "PinP (Picture in Picture)" and "POP (Picture out Picture)".
Mitsubishi Electric discontinued its LCD monitor business for individuals in 2013. Since then, no new products have been released, and only stock in the distribution channel has been sold. In this context, the newly released product is a new product that incorporates sufficient technology and know-how to remind consumers of the Mitsubishi brand. Incidentally, it is probably important to note that "RDT," the same as Mitsubishi's monitors, has been added to the model number.
Other features include a D-terminal and MHL/HDMI for connection to digital home appliances such as game consoles and smartphones. It also comes with a remote control for switching input sources, which can be operated from the hand. Positioning that can also be used for multimedia applications is also retained.
Common specifications include a non-glare AH-IPS panel, 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, 178-degree viewing angle both vertically and horizontally, maximum brightness of 250 candela, contrast of 1000:1, and response time of 14ms (GTG) / 3.2ms (GTG at maximum overdrive). Monitor output terminals include two HDMI (one of which supports MHL), one DVI-D, one VGA, and one D terminal.
The LCD-RDT271XPB measures 643 (W) x 445 (H) x 230 (D) mm (with stand) and weighs 6.8 kg (with stand). In addition, 2.5W + 2.5W stereo speakers are built in.
The LCD-RDT241XPB measures 540 (W) x 361-391 (H) x 170 (D) mm (with stand) and weighs 4.8 kg (with stand). 2W + 2W stereo speakers are built-in.
