Kotobukiya presents an elaborate 1/7th scale figure of Sakura Kinomoto from "Card Captor Sakura! Reproduction of the flight scene from the original illustration!
The figure "Card Captor Sakura ARTFX J Kinomoto Sakura" will be released by Kotobukiya in April 2015.
This is a 1/7th scale (approximately 185mm) figure of the bright and cheerful main character, Sakura Kinomoto, from the popular manga "Card Captor Sakura" by CLAMP, which has been adapted into an animated TV series and theater anime. The figure is part of the "ARTFX J" series, a series of figures of Japanese-born characters. She is dressed in the pink costume familiar from the original work, and even the smallest details such as her frilly skirt, transparent hair, and shiny shoes have been skillfully reproduced. She is seated on a cloud-like base, straddling a "sealing wand" and flying through the air with her wings spread with the power of "Fly," which is so memorable in the film. Kero-chan, or Cerberus, is also included.
The price is 11,000 yen plus tax. A second figure of Sakura's rival, Li Syaoran, is also scheduled for release.
