Good Smile Racing Wins Second Annual "SUPER GT" Championship in Three Years! Good Smile Racing recaptures the title by introducing the latest model!

Good Smile Racing won the annual championship in the GT300 class of the SUPER GT automobile race. This is the second time since 2011 that the team has won the annual championship.




Good Smile Racing has been participating in the "SUPER GT" car race with its "Miku Hatsune BMW" featuring Miku Hatsune, and in 2014, its seventh year, the team parted ways with Studie, with which it had raced for six years, and entered the race as the new GSR. Former F1 driver Ukyo Katayama, who had been the sporting director of the team, was appointed as the new director, and the latest model "BMW Motorsport Z4 GT3 MY14" was introduced as the machine.


This season started with two consecutive wins, but no points were scored in the 3rd and 4th rounds. Toward the end of the season, he rallied to finish 3rd in the 7th round at Buriram, Thailand, the first race of the season, and then 3rd in the final round (November 16, Twin Ring Motegi) to regain the title that he had longed for. He also won the Best Performance Award and the Best Mechanic Award.
