TV anime "Shokugeki no Soma" reveals staff/cast and teaser PV!　Directed by Yoshitomo Yonetani of Taibani the Movie

The staff/cast and teaser PV of the TV anime "Shokugeki no Soma," which will start in 2015, have been released.

Shokugeki no Soma" is a manga work serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (original story by Yuto Tsukita and Shun Saeki, cooperation by Tomonori Morisaki). The original comic has been published up to volume 10 and has sold a total of over 4.4 million copies. The content is a gourmet manga that depicts the struggles of the main character, the son of a popular diner, set in a prestigious culinary school. Yuki Morisaki, a well-known cookery researcher who is too beautiful for her own good, contributes cooking ideas, and the sexy tasting reactions of the female characters are also a feature of the manga.

The staff and cast of the TV anime version have now been revealed. The director is Yoshitomo Yonetani of the "TIGER & BUNNY the Movie" series, series composition is by Shogo Yaskawa of "Terraformers", character design is by Tomoyuki Shimotani of the "Bakuman. series, Tomoyuki Shimotani for character design, and J.C. STAFF for animation production. The cast includes Souma Kouhei as Souma Matsuoka, Erina Nagikiri as Risa Taneda, Megumi Tadokoro as Minami Takahashi, and Ikumi Mito as Shizuka Ishigami.

A stage event will also be held on December 21 from 15:00 to 15:30 in JUMP FESTA 2015. Guests will be Yuto Tsukita, Tomoki Morisaki, Sadayoshi Matsuoka, Risa Taneda, Minami Takahashi, and Shizuka Ishigami.
