The winter-only illumination "The Story of the Lights" will be held at March Ecute Kanda-Mansebashi from November 22 to March 1, 2015.

The illumination is arranged to blend in with the atmospheric red bricks and the massive staircase of the remains. The Story of Manseibashi," the staircase of the remains, will be enveloped in a fantastic atmosphere. The 1912 staircase will be illuminated with LED power lights in the three primary colors of light, red, blue, and green, and the 1935 staircase will be illuminated with a snow-like lighting effect. In the South Corridor, where many stores are located, a tie-up with Morphing, Inc., which is engaged in various activities through art with the largest network of art students in Japan, will be held to illuminate the South Corridor. The charm of March Ecute, which is integrated with historical railroad remains, will be expressed through two motifs: "logs and annual rings (history and warmth)" and "mason jars (sustainability and diversity)". In addition, the area around the JR Kanda Bansebashi Building will be illuminated with an image of "Edo Higan Cherry Blossoms Blooming in Winter. The fresh green of young leaves and the pale pink of cherry blossoms will illuminate the streets.

The lights will be turned on from 4:00 p.m. each day. From November 22 to December 25, Christmas workshops and limited-time-only products will be on sale.

Together with the Christmas illumination at Akihabara UDX, which has become an established winter tradition in Akihabara, this will be a popular spot for couples during the Christmas period.
