New headset tuned for gaming from O-Tech!　Two models, a sealed type and an open type, are now on sale!

New models of Audio-Technica headsets are now available.

The lineup includes two models: the ATH-PG1, a sealed type for action and dungeon games, and the ATH-PDG1, an open type for field games. As mentioned above, both are headsets with analog connections tuned for gaming.

The ATH-PG1 is a sealed model with a 44mm-diameter driver and features a powerful, responsive sound that makes explosions and dungeon footsteps come through realistically. It features a lightweight metal band suitable for long hours of play and leather ear pads that are comfortable to the ear. Main specifications include an output sound pressure level of 96 dB/mW, a frequency range of 20-20000 Hz, a maximum input of 1300 mW, and an impedance of 38 ohms.

The ATH-PDG1 is an open-type model equipped with a 40mm-diameter driver and features an open sound that allows users to experience a vast sense of field. The headband is made of lightweight metal, the same as the ATH-PG1, but the earpads are made of breathable fabric. Main specifications include an output sound pressure level of 92 dB/mW, a frequency range of 20-20000 Hz, a maximum input of 1300 mW, and an impedance of 39 ohms.

Both have a cable with a detachable microphone. The cables come with one for PCs and the other for smartphones, allowing the user to choose the cable that best suits the device. The specifications of each cable and microphone are as follows

The cable for PC is a 3.5mm gold-plated 4-pole stereo mini (microphone section: back electret condenser type, unidirectional, sensitivity -38dB (0dB=1V/Pa, 1kHz), frequency response 250 to 16000Hz). The cable for smartphones is a 3.5mm gold-plated 4-pole stereo mini/L-type (microphone part: condenser type, omni-directional, sensitivity -40dB (0dB=1V/Pa, 1kHz), frequency response 100 to 10,000Hz). Both cables are 1.2 m long, and an extension cable (2.0 m) for PC use is also included.
