The anime film "Expelled from Paradise," which opened in theaters on November 15, will be released in North America.

Expelled from Paradise" is a completely original anime film by Toei Animation and Nitroplus. The film is directed by Seiji Mizushima, written by Gen Urobuchi, with character design by Masatsugu Saito and animation production by Graphinica. The story is about an investigator, Angela, who descends to the devastated earth to solve the mystery of a hacking master who calls himself Frontier Setter after the cyber world DIVA, a safe haven for human beings, is invaded by a mysterious hacking attack.

The film has had a better-than-expected start, ranking ninth at the weekend box office despite being in only 13 theaters, and in response to this, a worldwide rollout has been decided. As the first installment, the film will be sequentially released in North America from December. The poster and official website for the English version of the film have also been released.
