Century "HDMI/Analog Video Recorder Kanroku HD" released! Microphone audio input support, PC-less game capture

The "HDMI/Analog Video Recorder Kanroku HD" (model number: KANROKU-HD), a PC-less HDMI compatible game capture unit, is now available from Century.


The "HDMI/Analog Video Recorder KANROKU-HD" is an external game capture unit that supports three video inputs (HDMI, component, and composite) and can record game screens without the need for a PC.

HDMI supports pass-through output, enabling output of fast-moving video with minimal delay. It also has a 3.5mm mini-jack for microphone audio input.

Recording storage can be a USB memory stick or HDD/SSD with a USB 2.0 connection, and the supported formats are FAT32 and NTFS. The maximum capacity is 2TB, and files are divided into 2GB units.

Recording specifications are as follows Maximum resolution is 1920 x 1080 pixels (30 fps) for HDMI and 720 x 576 pixels (60 fps) for the two analog systems. The recording format is H.264/MPEG-4 AVC, and the audio format is AAC. bit rate is up to 16000 kbps (1080p/720p).

Note that video editing and file uploading to distribution sites are not provided. These functions must be performed separately from a PC or tablet.

The main unit measures 132 (W) x 35 (H) x 102 (D) mm and weighs 150 g (not including accessories). Main accessories include a dedicated analog connection cable (component/RCA composite), a USB cable for main unit settings, and a dedicated AC adapter.
