The second season of the TV anime "Shinkage no Kyojin" will start within 2016!　The second part of the movie version will be released on June 27, 2015

It was announced that the second TV anime season of the anime "Shigeki no Kyojin" will start within 2016.

The TV series, which aired from April to September 2013, was directed by Tetsuro Araki, whose works include "DEATH NOTE," and Yasuko Kobayashi, whose works include "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Yasuko Kobayashi of "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure" was in charge of the series composition. Before the broadcast, many were concerned about the intense action scenes, but when they opened the door to the series, they found it to be a masterpiece that even fans of the original story were excited to see. Even now that the series has finished airing, it continues to be a topic of conversation and has become as popular as the original manga, which has sold a total of more than 40 million copies. The long-awaited "movie version," a live-action movie and an anime movie, are being made simultaneously.

In conjunction with the November 22 release of the animated film, "The Movie: The Shingeki Giants Part 1 - Red Archer", it was announced that "The Movie: The Shingeki Giants Part 2 - Wings of Freedom" will be released on June 27, 2015, and the long-awaited second TV anime season will begin within 2016. The first advance tickets with special offers for the second part of the theater version will go on sale on November 29. Details regarding the second TV anime season have not yet been announced.
