The anime film "Space Battleship Yamato 2199: Ark of the Stars" will be released on December 6, and a special program commemorating its release will be broadcast on terrestrial television.

In addition to the festive mood created by the consecutive releases of the film, production of a Hollywood live-action film version of "STAR BLAZERS" (tentative title) has begun in earnest with the aim of releasing the film in 2017 or 2018.

To commemorate the release of "Space Battleship Yamato 2199: Ark of the Stars," a special program "Commemorating the Theatrical Release of Space Battleship Yamato 2199! Space Battleship Yamato 2199: Ark of the Stars SP" will be broadcast to commemorate the release of "Space Battleship Yamato 2199: Ark of the Stars". Eriko Nakamura, who plays Mikage Kiryu, and Aya Uchida, who plays Yuria Misaki, will be the navigators, introducing the work and its voice actors along with the latest footage that will be shown for the first time. The special compilation film "Space Battleship Yamato 2199: The Voyage of Recollection," which was released just prior to the film, allowed viewers to fully enjoy the battle scenes of Yamato.
