GALAX "GF PGTX970-OC/4GD5 MINI" is released!

The short board type GeForce GTX 970 video card "GF PGTX970-OC/4GD5 MINI" is now available from GALAX.

The GF PGTX970-OC/4GD5 MINI is a GeForce GTX 970 video card with a dual-fan cooler despite its short length of 193 mm (179 mm board length). The fan size of the cooling mechanism is 80mm, and in addition, it uses three 6mm-diameter x 3 heat pipes, and "performance is above reference" (BUY MORE Akihabara flagship store).

The core clock has also been increased, from 1050MHz base to 1126MHz, and from 1178MHz boost to 1266MHz. The auxiliary power supply has the same 6-pin + 6-pin configuration as the reference.

Other main specifications include 4GB of GDDR5 memory and a memory data rate of 7Gbps (equivalent to 7010MHz clock). Monitor output ports are DisplayPort x 1, HDMI x 1, DVI-I x 1, and DVI-D x 1. The main unit is a 2-slot occupancy type.
