2015 Winter Anime "Absolute Duo" Announces Character Setup Drawings and Additional Cast Members! Gorgeous members including Haruka Tomatsu, Yukari Tamura, Yui Horie, and more!

Character setting drawings and additional cast members have been announced for the TV anime "Absolute Duo," which will start in January 2015.


Absolute Duo" is a light novel by Takumi Hiiragi, currently in its fifth volume published by MF Bunko J. The story is set in a combat technology training school. It is a school battle romantic comedy that depicts the battle and love between the main character, who has a special ability to turn his soul into a weapon, and his female partner at a combat technology training school. The anime version is produced by Eight Bit. The director is Atsushi Nakayama, series composition is by Takamitsu Kouno, and character design is by Keiichi Sano.

The second key visual, character setting images, and additional cast members have been unveiled. The second key visual is a group illustration of the female characters, and the character set-up drawings are of the five main characters, including Toru Kokonoe, Yurie Sigtuna, Lilith Bristol, Miyabi Hotaka, and Tomoe Tachibana. The additional cast includes Haruka Tomatsu as Imari Nagakura, Yukari Tamura as Rito Tsukimi, Yui Horie as Sakuya Kujuukuru, Natsuki Hanae as Tora, and Yoshihisa Kawahara as Tatsu. In addition, three songs will be available for the ED theme: "Believe x Believe," a solo song by Yurie (CV: Hope Yamamoto), "A Taste of Apple Tea," a duet by Yurie and Lilith (CV: Haruka Yamazaki), and "2/2," a duet between Miyabi (CV: Ayaka Imamura) and Tomoe (CV: Ayaka Suwa) The CD will be released on February 18, 2015.


In addition, an advance screening of the first episode will be held at Kadokawa Cinema Shinjuku from 20:00 on December 28. The event will also feature a talk show and live performance by Sadayuki Matsuoka, Hope Yamamoto, Haruka Yamazaki, Ayaka Imamura, Ayaka Suwa, and others.
