Akiba Koho" is an irregular series of articles introducing PC parts and digital gadgets that the Akiba Research Institute staff found interesting during interviews.
Intel's 1000BASE-T NIC "I350" series for servers is now on sale at Oriospec.
The new models are the 2-port "Ethernet Server Adapter I350-T2V2" and 4-port "Ethernet Server Adapter I350-T4V2" with PCI Express x4 connection.
The main difference from the previous model is that "the AUX power supply component has been changed" (the store).
The price has increased by 2,000 yen to 4,000 yen compared to the previous model, but this is said to be "due to the depreciation of the yen.
The I350-T2V2 is priced at 19,800 yen (excluding tax) and the I350-T4V2 at 44,800 yen (excluding tax).
