Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches" will be adapted into an animated TV series to be broadcast in the spring of 2015.


Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches" is a manga work by Miki Yoshikawa, serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine. It is a school comedy featuring attractive characters with both humanity and charm and a speedy, comical, yet detailed storyline. Incidentally, like Miki Yoshikawa's previous work "Yankee-kun to Megane-chan," it has already been adapted into a live-action drama.

This time, following the OAD version to be released in December, a TV anime adaptation has been decided. The staff consists of first-time director Seiki Takuno, assistant director Fumiaki Usui, series composition and script by Michiko Yokote, and character design by Eriko Iida. Animation production will be handled by Raiden Film. The cast includes Ryu Yamada as Ryota Osaka, Urara Shiraishi as Saori Hayami, Toranosuke Miyamura as Toshiki Masuda, Marei Uchida as Masashi Ito, Kotaro Tsubaki as Juji Sasaki, Nene Odagiri as Eri Kitamura, Ushio Igarashi as Daisuke Ono, Meiko Otsuka as Yui Makino, Maria Sarushima as Yuki Takao, and Noa Takigawa as Aoi Yuki, Rika Saionji is played by Maazumi Tazawa, and Shinichi Tamaki is played by Shinnosuke Tachibana.


<Story
There are seven witches in this school.
The main character, Ryu Yamada, does not fit in with the daily life at his private preparatory school and is constantly causing problems. However, one day, his school life changes drastically! He meets new friends and witches, and begins a fun but hard day-to-day life... Until he finds the seven witches, he will never be bored again!
