ASRock's Q2900-ITX fanless Mini-ITX mother with Pentium J2900 goes on sale December 5!

The ASRock Q2900-ITX Mini-ITX motherboard with the Pentium J2900, the top-of-the-line Bay Trail-D model, will be available tomorrow, December 5.

As mentioned above, the Q2900-ITX is a fanless Mini-ITX motherboard with a TDP 10W quad-core SoC "Pentium J2900" (operating clock: 2.41GHz/2.66GHz on turbo boost, 2MB cache capacity).

It supports DDR3 SO-DIMMs for memory, and while Bay Trail-D supports only the low-voltage 1.35V version (DDR3L), it also supports the 1.5V version (DDR3). In addition, it is equipped with SATA 6Gbps and USB 3.0, making it relatively well-equipped in terms of storage among similar products.

Main specifications include one PCI Express x1 expansion slot, one Mini PCI Express slot, and two SO-DIMM memory slots (DDR3/DDR3L-1333 compatible, maximum capacity 16GB). Main interfaces include HDMI, DVI-D, VGA, Gigabit LAN, 8-channel sound, SATA x 4 (3Gbps x 2 + 6Gbps x 2), USB 3.0 x 4 (rear I/O x 2 + pin header x 2), and USB 2.0 x 4.
