Ultra-lightweight, low-power consumption stick-type PC priced at 20,000 yen!

The "m-Stick" (model number: MS-NH1), a stick-type computer that looks like a USB memory stick, is now available from Mouse Computer.


The "m-Stick" is equipped with a 4-core/4-thread "Atom Z3735F" CPU (operating clock: base 1.33GHz/max 1.83GHz, cache capacity: 2MB), which is designed for tablets, and "Windows 8.1 with Bing" pre-installed as the OS, This is an extremely small-sized Windows PC.

The main unit looks like a USB flash drive with an HDMI port that can be plugged directly into an LCD monitor or TV, and weighs approximately 44 g. The main unit measures 100 (W) x 9.8 (H) x 38 (D) mm, making it light and small. The company claims that it is "the world's smallest stick-type PC.

The main specifications include 2GB of DDR3L memory, 32GB of eMMC storage, Wi-Fi (IEEE802.11 b/g/n) and Bluetooth 4.0 networking, and a standard-size USB 2.0 port for connecting a USB keyboard, mouse, and other peripherals as an external interface. The device is also equipped with a USB 2.0 port and a microSD card reader (SDHC/SDXC compatible) for connection to USB keyboards, mice, and other peripherals.

Power is supplied via a USB port (micro-B), and a USB AC adapter is included; the AC adapter outputs 5 V/2 A. Power consumption is 2.5 W at standard, 7.4 W at maximum, and about 0.08 W in sleep mode.

According to the BUY MORE Akihabara flagship store, when tested with a 6000mAh capacity Danboard battery capable of 5V/2.1A output, the device operated for a total of 14 hours when idle.
