Original TV anime "Death Parade" to start in January 2015! Key Visual and Broadcasting Stations Announced

Broadcasting of the TV anime "Death Parade" is set to begin in January 2015. The broadcast station and key visual were also announced.



Death Parade" is a TV series adaptation of the original anime "Death Billiard" produced by Madhouse, which was released in 2013 as part of the young animator training project "Anime Mirai" and attracted attention for its style of depicting the depths of human nature and the riddle story it throws at viewers. Yuzuru Tachikawa, who participated in "BLEACH" and "The Book of Dantalian" as a director, and directed the first OVA "Arata naru Sekai", will direct the TV series as well. Character design and chief animation director is Shinichi Kurita, and art director is Satoru Hirayanagi. Production will continue to be produced by Madhouse.

The key visual and broadcast information have been released. The key visual depicts Dekim, a white-haired bartender at "Queen Dekim," a bar where the souls of dead people gather, as well as his customers and business associates. The broadcast will begin on January 9, 2015 at 25:58 on NTV, January 13, 2015 at 24:00 on Sun TV, and January 22, 2015 at 22:30 / January 24, 2015 at 9:30 / January 26, 2015 at 28:30 / January 28, 2015 at 16:30 on AT-X. It will also be available on Nico Nico Live from 23:30 on January 10, 2015; it will also be available on Hulu and Nittele On Demand.
