Ore Monogatari! is a girls' manga serialized in Bessatsu Margaret (original work: Kazune Kawahara/illustration: Arco). The original comic has been published up to volume 7, and boasts a total of more than 3 million copies sold. The story is a romantic comedy centered on Takeo Gouda, a big, strong, and bold man, and the people around him. The characterization is characterized by breaking the conventional wisdom in shoujo manga that heroes are good-looking men, and the highlights of the series include the hero, who is not handsome but has a dynamic and masculine gentleness that makes him popular with the audience.
