Voice actor Haruka Tomatsu joins the 2015 NHK historical drama "Hanamayu!

Voice actress Haruka Tomatsu will participate in NHK's historical drama "Hanamayu".

Haruka Tomatsu has been active as the main character Keta in "Yokai Watch" and as Cure Fortune in "Happiness Charge Pretty Cure". It has now been announced that she will participate in the NHK historical drama "Hanamayu" to be broadcast from January 4, 2015. She will be voicing the first official character of the NHK Taiga Drama, Moerun, who is "energetic and a bit tomboyish! She is a brush youkai girl with a lot of charm and innocence. I hope to cheerfully and happily support Hananenyu with her charm and convey its appeal to the audience! I look forward to working with you and Mo Yurun from now on!" I look forward to your continued support of the production as well as Moruyurun!

From now on, Mo Yurun plans to promote "Hanamayu" at special programs related to the historical drama, at events, on the official website, on Twitter, and on Facebook, etc. On the program's official website (http://nhk.jp/hanamoyu), a video with Tomatsu's voice (video introducing Moyurun) has been released. A project is also underway to solicit requests as to whether or not Moyurun will appear on the program ( if a total of 540,000 "Let it out" votes are collected, he will be confirmed to appear on the program).

Incidentally, the NHK Taiga Drama "Hanamayu" will depict the human drama of the Matsushita Village School and the movement toward the Meiji Restoration, featuring Sugi Fumi (later Miwako Kudori), the youngest sister of Yoshida Shoin, who later became the wife of Kusaka Genzui.
