日本エイサーは、「Predator League 2020 Finals」の開催を、2021年春に再延期すると発表した。
同社は「Predator League 2020 Finals」（フィリピン・マニラ）の開催延期を2020年2月に決定し、同年6月～7月の期間に開催すると発表していた。
しかし、新型コロナウイルス感染拡大防止の観点から関係者の安全を第一優先にし、フィリピン・マニラにおいてオフライン開催を行い「Predator League 2020 Finals」に参加する代表チームに平等な競技環境を提供したいことから、同大会の開催を2021年春に再延期することを決定した。
この延期に伴い、大会名である「Predator League 2020 Finals」が「Predator League 2020/2021 Finals」に変更される。
なお、2019年12月の「Predator League 2020 Japan Round」で出場権を獲得した、DetonatioN Gaming White/Rascal Jesterの2チームは、PUBGにおいて引き続き出場権が保持されるとのことだ。
