2021 年 6 月 14 日，Square Enix 宣佈從 Final Fantasy 到 Final Fantasy VI 的六款遊戲將進行全新 2D 重製，並依序推出 Steam 與智慧型手機版本。


這 6 款遊戲都曾經過移植與重制，但這次將以各遊戲的原始版本為基礎，以統一的畫質進行 2D 重製，統稱為「Final Fantasy Pixel Remastered」。

目前已發佈預告片。發售日期與官方網站將於稍後公布，敬請期待。
