Dagashi Comedy "Dagashi Butai" to be adapted into a TV anime! Like the manga, old-fashioned dagashi will appear with real names?

A TV anime adaptation of "Dare But But But" has been decided.



Dare But Butai" is a manga work serialized in Weekly Shōnen Sunday by Kotoyama. It is a comedy centering on the son of the heir to a candy store and the daughter of a candy manufacturer who is a candy maniac, and old-fashioned candy appears with real names. The manga also introduces fun ways to eat them and recipes for adding a little something extra, and has gained popularity mainly among people in their 20s and 30s. The total number of comics sold has exceeded 450,000 copies, and the third volume will be released on October 16, 2012.


In conjunction with the announcement of the TV anime adaptation, a teaser visual and storyline have been released. Details such as the airing date, staff, and cast have yet to be announced.
