Saga Prefecture-produced anime "Okaeri" unveils its main visual!　ED is a new song "Important Place" by Sayaka Matsutani from the same prefecture.

The main visual for the anime "Okaeri" produced by Saga Prefecture has been unveiled.

Saga Prefecture has been actively utilizing anime productions amid a nationwide trend toward publicity videos for local governments, and in April 2016, the prefecture released two anime productions on the web, "Yakusoku no Kiki: Arita no Hatsukoi" (Arita's First Love) set in Arita Town and "Winter Oath, Summer Festival: Takeo no Okusu" depicting Takeo City, which were well received. In January 2017, two new works, "TADAIMA" set in Saga City and "OKAERI" set in Karatsu City, were announced.

Following the previously announced visual for "TADAIMA", the main visual for "OKAERI" has now been released. The story of "TADAIMA" is set in Karatsu City and follows Sora Hiroi, a high school student who aspires to become a professional soccer player but has to give up his dream due to an injury.
The ending theme will be a new song, "An Important Place" by Sayaka Matsutani, a singer-songwriter from Saga Prefecture.

Both films will be shown on Youtube and at the Saga Prefectural Museum and the Kyushu Ceramic Museum from March 12, 2017, and on March 11, an "Animation Touring Saga Prefecture" commemorative event will be held at the Saga Prefectural Museum to celebrate the release of the two films.
