Space Battleship Yamato 2202: Warriors of Love" is a sequel to "Space Battleship Yamato 2199," a remake of the classic "Space Battleship Yamato" that became a hot topic. As the title suggests, the film is inspired by the 1978 animated film "Farewell Space Battleship Yamato: Warriors of Love." Three years after Yamato completes its voyage to Iskandar, the threat of the battle nation of Gatlantis, the Imperial Star, looms over a recovering Earth, and the Yamato crew faces a new voyage to confront it. The executive producer is Shoji Nishizaki, the director is Nobuyoshi Habara of "Blue Sky: Fafner," the assistant director is Makoto Kobayashi of "Space Battleship Yamato: Resurrection," and the series composition and screenplay are by Harutoshi Fukui of "Mobile Suit Gundam UC. The first chapter will be screened at 15 theaters nationwide, including Shinjuku Piccadilly, for a limited two-week period starting February 25, 2017.

The memorable first episode will be distributed from 6:00 p.m. on February 20.

Also, on the same day as the screening of the first chapter, advance tickets for the second chapter will be available for purchase. The bonus is a B2 size poster of "Yamato in the Hangar" using a newly drawn illustration. The number of tickets will be limited, so don't miss out on it.
