Volks unveils prototype of 1/24th scale "Shadow Flare"!　Latest prototype samples to be displayed at Hobby Round 17 on May 6

Volks has released photos of the prototype of the "Shadow Flare" injection kit scheduled for release in summer 2017.

The story of "Blue Knight Berzelga" is an extravaganza of the TV anime "Armored Trooper Votoms," a work of fiction that continues to attract fans with its overwhelmingly large-scale story of the main character Kane McDougall in the Astragius Galaxy and its distinctive AT design.

This time, a photo of the prototype of the 1/24th scale injection kit of "Shadow Flare," an AT that appeared in the novel, has been released. The model is a large model measuring approximately 220mm in height, but the details of each part of the fuselage, which were based on the design created by mechanical designer Fumihiro Katagai for the kit, give the model an extremely dense finish. The gimmicky aspects of the model, such as the arm punch and landing pose, are also noteworthy.

The figure will be released in summer 2017 at a yet-to-be-determined price in 1/24 scale (approx. 220mm in height). The latest prototype sample will be on display at the "Hobby Round 17" event ( # ) to be held at Tokyo Big Sight on May 6 (Sat). Fans will be able to check out the inside of the cockpit and other areas of interest, so be sure to visit the event.
