Summer anime "Koi to Lie" reveals main visual and character PV!　Main casts including Kana Hanazawa, Yui Makino, and Ryota Osaka also announced!

The main visual, PV, and main cast of the TV anime "Koi to Uso, " which will start in the summer of 2017 , have been revealed.




Koi to Uso" is a manga serialized in "Manga Box" (Kodansha, Weekly Shonen Magazine Editorial Department/DeNA) by Musawo. This popular work depicts the immature and fleeting forbidden love of boys and girls in a world where the Basic Law on Measures to Cope with the Decreasing Birthrate, commonly known as the Yukari Law, is enforced, which notifies marriage partners upon reaching the age of 16.

The main visual and PV depicting the work's heroines, Misaki Takasaki and Ririna Sanada, and the main character, Yukari Nejima, have now been released. The cast information and comments have also been announced, with Kana Hanazawa playing the role of Misaki Takasaki, the popular girl in the class who is admired by all the boys, Yui Makino playing the role of Ririna Sanada, who hates to lose and is not good at socializing, and Ryota Osaka playing the role of Yukari Nejima, an ordinary high school boy who could be found anywhere.

In addition, an advance screening of episodes 1 & 2 will be held on June 24, 2017 (Sat) at TOHO Cinemas Shinjuku in Tokyo, with Kana Hanazawa, Mr. Osaka, and director Seiki Takuno on stage. Ririna is surprisingly serious and straightforward.
I have the impression that Ririna is a pure and innocent girl who is also somehow wealthy at heart.
I would like to weave her changes as she gets involved with Neji and Misaki with great care.
Personally, I am looking forward to that cuddly feeling and conversation that I would have only experienced in high school, which is depicted in this "Love and Lies".
I hope to experience again through this work what I could not experience when I was a student myself (laugh).

Ryota Osaka as Yukari Nejima
I am very honored to play the role of Neji this time. This work is a story about the complicated feelings of having one's marriage decided by the government, which may or may not make you happy.
It will be interesting to see how each character will make choices after resisting and struggling with these ties. It is difficult to express the detailed emotions in the story, but I will do my best to deliver something good to everyone.
