R, a 2.5D idol supporting project, held their first live tour. An official report on the first day's performance and comments from the members after the show have arrived.


DRIFES! is a "2.5 dimensional" content by Bandai that combines a 2 dimensional rookie 5-member male idol group with an actual (3 dimensional) cast. The first season of the TV anime aired in the fall of 2016, and the second season, "DOLIFES!

The official report from the Tokyo show, which was held at TOKYO DOME CITY HALL on January 10 (Wed.) and comments from the members after the show have now arrived, which will be the opening act of "DearDream 1st LIVE TOUR 2018 'Yumenokodou'", DearDream's first nationwide tour. The first nationwide tour by DearDream, a unit born from the 2.5D idol support project "DOLIFES!
DearDream 1st LIVE TOUR 2018 "Yumenokodou"" was held on January 10 (Wed) at TOKYO DOME CITY HALL in Tokyo and on January 13 (Sat) at Armoni Cinq Kitakyushu Soleil Hall in Fukuoka.

This is their first national tour as the main characters of "DOLIFES! R," which is linked with a 2-D rookie 5-member male idol group and a 3-D cast. R. The tour will visit Tokyo, Fukuoka, Osaka, Aichi, and conclude at Pacifico Yokohama in Kanagawa Prefecture.
A long line of audience members, mostly young women, lined up in front of the venue for live goods to see DearDream perform on this memorable day of their national tour.

When it was time for the show to begin, the venue went dark and the main screen displayed the characters of "DOLIFES! characters and the five members Soma Ishihara (Kanade Amamiya), Takuya Mizoguchi (Shin Oikawa), Kentaro Tomita (Junya Sasaki), Masahiro Ota (Itsuki Katagiri), and Kaoru Masaki (Sengen Sawamura) were shown on the main screen, and the audience cheered.



The members in their new costumes appeared on stage from the center of the stage with even stronger spirits than before, and the live started with a shout of "Tokyo! the center's Souma Ishihara opened the live performance with a shout of "Tokyo!
The five members continued to perform powerful dance-arranged numbers. In the dance medley of unit songs, Takuya Mizoguchi and Kentaro Tomita performed "Symmetric love" for the first time. The audience went wild with their cool performance and mature expressions as they delivered the key lines of the song. Next was "You are my RIVAL" by W-MaSKat, a unit formed by Masahiro Ota and Kaoru Masaki. The main screen showed the 2-D characters they portrayed, and the 3-D performers sang and danced in front of them, a song that was truly appropriate for the 5-D audience.


The members, who had changed into casual costumes, playfully entertained the fans with the song, singing along with the audience while striking poses unique to each location, creating a sense of oneness with the audience. The setlist was a mix of a variety of songs, with the audience listening closely to a ballad that also featured outstanding harmonies.
In the middle part of the set, the audience was charged up with up-tempo dance numbers that included wild solo dances amidst the intense dance performance.



The VTR was shown on the main screen, and each member picked a colored ball from a box and performed a unit song with the member who drew the same color. This was a "unit shuffle plan," which was planned specifically for this tour, with different combinations in each of the five cities. The unexpected turn of events drew a huge thrill of joy from the audience.



In the second half of the tour, the band performed upper dance tunes while waving their tour towels around, enlivening the audience with their passionate stage performance. The audience was excited to hear the song "Are you ready for this?" The familiar call and response of "Ikeru Sho" was followed by the full power of the five members as they ran around the large stage, attracting about 3,000 "Dear Dreamers" (*DearDream's name given by the five members to their fans).
In the last part of the song "Yumenokodou," which is also the title of the tour, the five sang their passionate voices to TOKYO DOME CITY HALL and left the stage with smiles on their faces.



Then, in response to the audience's encore of "Ikeru Sho! the members changed into their tour T-shirts and appeared on stage again. Ishihara said, "Today's call of 'Ikeru Sho! was great!" Ishihara said, "Today's call was great!
The encore song, a pop tune, brought the audience and the members together in a warm circle, and after two and a half hours on stage, the five members lined up in the center of the stage. and then they all joined hands at the end, saying "Thank you very much for your great support (yell) today. and ended the first day's performance with an off-mike greeting.


Usually, Souma Ishihara, the center of the group, is in charge of the last MC, but this time, each of the five members was in charge of the last MC as the group toured five cities in Japan. Takuya Mizoguchi, who was in charge of the Tokyo performance, said, "It has been 3 years since DearDream was formed, and I have enjoyed being with the members every day. We would like to repay the gratitude with our live performances. Thank you so much. DearDream also said "Thank you very much for your support.


After touring Osaka and Aichi, DearDream will perform at Pacifico Yokohama National Grand Hall in Kanagawa on February 25 (Sun.) for the final leg of the tour. Tickets for the Aichi and Kanagawa shows will go on sale to the general public on January 20 (Sat).
KUROFUNE will also appear as a guest at the Osaka and Kanagawa shows.

Souma Ishihara
The curtain has finally risen on our 1st LIVE TOUR.
It has been a long time since I had a one-man show, so I was nervous in many ways, but it was a really fun show.
I will head to Fukuoka with even more enthusiasm and momentum that I received from the Tokyo audience today.
Thank you to everyone who attended the Tokyo show. And to those of you in the next four cities, please look forward to seeing us!

Takuya Mizoguchi
Thank you very much for coming! Your support is always very encouraging. I always think that I am sending out as much energy as I can, but even so, it is not enough. But that's why we can aim even higher! The tour has finally started. With gratitude for all the support we have received so far, we are going to go through the tour as if we are returning the favor to you all!

The first day of the tour is over! The first day of the tour has finally arrived! It was too much fun. I felt it for about 5 seconds.
After the show, I always think that a live concert is completed by the smiles and enthusiasm of the audience! Thanks to all of you, we had a great time this time, too! I am so glad that you enjoyed the setlist and live performance structure that we thought through with the members and staff!
