Natsume's Book of Friends the Movie: Utsusemi ni Tsunagu", Two members of popular comedy duo Baikingu become Yokai! Additional Guest Cast Unleashed!

Additional guest cast members have been released from "Natsume's Book of Friends the Movie: Utsusemi ni Tsunagu," which will be released on Saturday, September 29, 2018.

Natsume's Book of Friends" is a popular manga series by Yuki Midorikawa serialized in the monthly magazine LaLa (Hakusensha), in which the main character, Takashi Natsume, along with his bouncer, Nyanko-sensei, meets various people and youkai and grows up together. It has become an unusually long series for a late-night TV anime.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the anime adaptation, and the theater version, the first feature film of the series, will feature completely new and original episodes supervised by the original creator. The general director is Takahiro Omori, who directed the first through fourth TV series (and was the general director for the fifth through sixth seasons). The director is Hideki Ito, who also works extensively as an animator. The script is by Sadayuki Murai, who has worked on numerous theater productions. Animation production will be handled by Zhu Xia, the same as the TV series.

The additional guest cast announced this time is Eiji Kotoge and Mizuki Nishimura of the popular comedy duo Baikingu. Eiji Koge will play the role of Monmonbo, a yokai who likes to be inside the walls, and Mizuki Nishimura will play the role of Rokubon-arm, a yokai with six arms who attacks Natsume for her friend book. Here are some comments from the two.

Comments

Eiji Koge as Monmonbo
It was the first time for me to participate in postrecording, let alone animation, so I enjoyed playing the role even though I was a bit bewildered. I enjoyed playing the role even though I was at a loss. I look forward to seeing you there.

Mizuki Nishimura as Six Arms
I have always wanted to participate in an animated film, so I was very happy when I was chosen to play the role. As the name suggests, I played the role of a yokai with six arms, and it took me a lot of trial and error to get it right. I hope you will see it in the theater.
