Resident Evil" to be adapted to full 3DCG animation on Netflix! Teaser visual and PV released!

The "Resident Evil" series, the first of which was released on PlayStation in 1996, will celebrate its 25th anniversary next year. The series has shipped more than 100 million units worldwide and is a milestone in survival horror games.

Three years after the release of the CG movie "Resident Evil: Vendetta" in 2017, the series has further evolved into an unprecedented full 3DCG animated film that will be distributed exclusively worldwide on Netflix in 2021. DCG animated film is now in motion.

The title of this film, which marks a new name in the history of a series that continues to evolve, is "BIOHAZARD: Infinite Darkness. Producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi of Capcom, the creator of the "Resident Evil" series, will supervise the production and original story. TMS Entertainment, which has produced various animation works, and Quebico, led by Yoshi Miyamoto, who was the production producer of "Resident Evil: Vendetta," will be in charge of full 3DCG animation production.

This horror-action film revolves around two popular characters, Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield. The film depicts the world of "Resident Evil" as no one has ever seen it before, with dynamic action scenes and suspenseful elements.

In the teaser PV, we see Claire stepping into an abandoned house in the dark and discovering "something," and Leon helping "someone" in the dark. The high quality of the film, with every speck of dust in the air and the tense facial expressions of the characters, could easily be mistaken for live-action footage.
