The time has come! The Xbox Strikes Back Begins! Junk Hunter Yoshida talks a lot about Xbox Series X/S! The Xbox Way! Part 6]
Thanks to the Corona disaster, I had to refrain from entertainment work for about half a year, and I was seriously working as a traffic journalist under my persona, or rather, my real name (although this is my main job now), but ...... finally, the "Xbox Series X" (although Microsoft's naming sense is as bad as ever) is going to be released in November. I've been a fan of the "Xbox Series X" (Microsoft's naming sense is as bad as ever), which will be released in November, and if I don't revive the series and start it up here, it won't help the sales promotion of the new Xbox!
And since I've been supporting the series on my own, it's time to get serious! Wake up, Xbox! Rising Xbox!
The long-awaited Xbox Series X will go on sale on November 10, 2020, but it has lost out to its biggest rival, Sony's new PlayStation 5 (PS5), and as usual, Microsoft's Japanese subsidiary is so bad at advertising and PR that it has been left in the shadows. Microsoft's Japanese subsidiary has been so bad at advertising and PR that fans are in tears over its shady existence. But, however!
Chill out, the Xbox Series X is much more powerful than the PS5, and its biggest advantage is backward compatibility, which means you can play games from past Xbox series games with great emulation technology. Don't forget that games from the original Xbox will be converted to HD even though you didn't ask for it (although we're glad you did), and you can enjoy the legacy of the past from the day you buy the Xbox Series X.
Using the latest technology developed for the new Xbox, the "Xbox Velocity Architecture," not only greatly compresses the data volume of games, but also reduces loading times (thanks in part to the 1TB SSD!) and ), the high performance of the Xbox Series X is as captivating as that of the PS5.
The drawback of the PS5 is backward compatibility with PS4 only. Verified results. only 10 games are not bootable on the PS5, which is admirable. But I don't think I've played all of the more than ......4,000 PS4 game software properly until the ending, so it's unknown if I can play it properly all the way to the end.
Well, of course, it will be constantly updated and supported, but in that regard, the Xbox Series X was developed while implementing backward compatibility since the Xbox One era (although you can play PS3 games to a point if you subscribe to PS Now), and it is by far less user-ignoring than the PS5 It is important to note that the PS5 does not ignore the users by far.
We should never forget that Sony once made a huge mistake in emulating the "PlayStation Classic," aka "PS Mini," to the dismay of the users who bought it. It exposed the fact that Sony's current development team was unable to successfully develop emulation technology for the original PS games. I have since come to believe that although Sony's technology is impressive, the Sony team has been less than enthusiastic about backward compatibility since the ouster of PS creator Ken Kutaragi. When you touch the Xbox Series X, you will remember how wonderful it was that Kutaragi's last legacy, the early PS3, was backward compatible with the PS and PS2. Initially, there were rumors overseas that the PS5 might also be backward compatible with all models from PS1 to PS4, but when I lifted the lid, it was just a rumor, and I was faced with the reality that I have yet to put away each PS hardware around my TV.
So I asked several of my American friends about their expectations for the PS5 and Xbox Series X, and received the following responses.
Americans have a large number of fans since the original Xbox, so they are overwhelmingly more excited about the new Xbox.
The Xbox Series X should be the dominant player in the video game wars in the North American market because it was born in the United States.
Many Hollywood movies are full of scenes that feature Xbox games in the movie. Unlike in Japan, the Xbox Series X will sell better than the PS5, since the only PS-related movies in North America are basically Sony Pictures' movies.
The Xbox hardware is now backward compatible with the original Xbox and Xbox 360, and I plan to buy an Xbox Series X before the end of the year because they care about their users more than ever.
I really don't care about the PS5 or the Xbox Series X, but I really don't care about the pretty graphics or anything else. I just want to be able to play games with hardcore content that I can't play on Nintendo's consoles. I'm not interested in improved graphics, which is mastery by the hardware makers. In that sense, the Xbox Series X with backward compatibility is fulfilling, and even though it hasn't been that long since I bought an Xbox One X, I hope to purchase one in the near future.
The reason there's so much excitement in Japan about the PS5 is because that's a Japanese company, right? The launch software lineup is so weak that many American gamers are still waiting to see how it goes.
I'm tired of the media trying to stir up the gaming community with hardware wars because I can still play both PS4 and Xbox One just fine. I don't intend to buy both at the moment. I'll think about buying one when it reaches a reasonable price."
After receiving these opinions, I realized that there is a considerable difference in temperature on the part of game users between Japan and the U.S. I had always understood that Xbox users are mainly Americans, but I was surprised to see such a difference in national character. I was surprised to see such a difference between the two countries. What is Xbox One? I hope that Microsoft will remember that they had been working hard to promote the Xbox One until the Xbox 360.
However, the Xbox Series X will be released on November 10 for 49,980 yen (excluding tax) and the discless "Xbox Series S" for 29,800 yen (excluding tax), and the PS5 will be released two days later on November 12 for 49,980 yen (excluding tax) and the discless "PS5 Digital Edition I was surprised that the price was so low, as I had expected it to be priced at over 50,000 yen. Compared to high-spec gaming PCs, it is so cheap that I am worried that there will be almost no profit even if I sell one of them.
Microsoft is trying to restrain Sony in the price war, and they have suddenly lowered the price of the Xbox Series S by 3,000 yen, which makes consumers happy, but long-time Xbox fans would like to see Microsoft spend more money on branding the Xbox before lowering the price so that it can gain enough market share in Japan to keep up with Sony's price. I hope that Xbox will gain enough market share in Japan to compete with Sony.
I was unable to pre-order the Xbox Series X because the pre-order period started at midnight, a few hours after the release date was announced, and I was out of the office from the evening of the pre-order start date until the next morning. I was depressed because I couldn't ride the big wave of the keyword "Xbox" buzzing for the first time in several years, but then a close friend of mine, with whom I always play "Predator Hunting Grounds" online multiplayer on PS4, told me that he was able to pre-order the game. I was so depressed that I couldn't take advantage of the big wave of keywords that were buzzing around.
It was a bit ironic for Sony to receive an Xbox Series X from a PS4 friend. I'm glad I'm playing PS4 too! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
