New OP & ED for 2nd Cool of Autumn Anime "Jutsu Kaisen"! Artists are Who-ya Extended and Cö shu Nie!

The TV anime "Jujutsu Kaisen", which airs every Friday night from 1:25 p.m. on "Super Anime-ism", a nationwide network of 28 MBS/TBS stations, has received new OP & ED information for the second season.

Jujutsu Kaisen" is a manga by Akutomi Geshi that began serialization in the 14th issue of "Weekly Shonen Jump" in 2018, and has sold more than 10 million copies in total. The story begins when Yuji Toradori, a high school student with exceptional physical abilities, eats the "Finger of Ryomen-Susuna," a special curse, to save his seniors from a monster, and the curse is placed on his soul.

The artists and music information for the new opening and ending themes for the second course, "Kyoto Sister School Exchange Arc," which will start in January 2021, have been announced.

The OP theme is "VIVID VICE" by Who-ya Extended, a creative unit led by vocalist Who-ya, who debuted at just 20 years old. Its light lyricism and fast-paced feel enlivens the second cool of the series.

The ED theme is "give it back" by Cö shu Nie, a three-piece rock band with a delicate and chaotic band sound and sad female vocals that charm with the expression in their voices. The ED is a song written by the band members, who have professed to be fans of the film.

Weekly Shonen Jump was the textbook of my youth.
This time, I am pleased to be able to participate in one of my favorite works through music.
Torajo is conflicted about his destiny, but he lives his life with a straightforward attitude. And the Jyutsu Kosen, who faces his own beliefs and continues to fight.

A creative unit led by vocalist Who-ya, they will make their major debut with "Q-vism" in November 2019. When "Q-vism" was released, it temporarily swept the distribution charts, reaching No. 1 on the iTunes overall chart and No. 1 on the Amazon digital popularity ranking. The artist is still a mystery, as only key visuals have been released, and there are no plans for live performances.

I look forward to reading Jujutsu Kaisen every week, feeling bitter about the length of the week, and it is my favorite work that has given me a lot of inspiration as well as pure joy that moves my heart. So when it was decided that I would be making the ED, everyone at Cö shu Nie rejoiced and shouted "banzai" together. The song "give it back" was born in response to the delicate and lovely aspects of this work. I hope this song will warm the hearts of everyone who has enjoyed Jujutsu Kaisen.
