The TV anime "Re:Zero Kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu" 2nd season second half cool is airing from January 6, 2021 (Wednesday). The full size music video of "Long shot" sung by Mayu Maejima, the OP theme of this work, has been released.

Mayu Maejima (Ex: MYTH& ROID), who is starting her solo career in 2019, will once again sing the theme song for the "Re:Zero" series. The opening theme "Long shot" is an EDM rock song provided by R・O・N, which is their first time working together.

The coupling song is the theme song for the game "Re:Zero kara Hajimari no Isekai Seikatsu: False King's Choice Candidate," which will be released on January 28, 2021. Another song of despair adorns the original story of Re:Zero.

The Music Video depicts Mayu Maejima as a queen who releases her suffering and sorrow and returns to the throne of counterattack.

MAYU MAESHIMA
Mayu Maeshima joined the contemporary creative unit "MYTH & ROID" (Miss Android) in 2015 as vocalist Mayu, and was highly acclaimed both in Japan and abroad as a vocalist, including a #1 position in the iTunes overall ranking, before regrettably leaving the unit in November 2017. In April 2019, she started her solo career as Mayu Maejima with the Digital Single "YELLOW".
In September of the same year, she released her Solo Debut Album "FromDream And You" and showed her presence as a solo artist by producing it with a team of creators who fell in love with her powerful voice and co-writing all the English lyrics.
She is in charge of the opening theme for the second half of the second season of the TV anime "Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu" which will air in early spring of 2021. She spells out words and sounds her voice in order to leave all kinds of negative emotions in her songs in a positive way.
