A signing event for the currently airing TV anime "Higurashi When They Cry Industry" will be held by Ayane, who sings the new ED theme "Irregular Entropy".

Higurashi When They Cry" was first released as a doujin game in 2002, and its interesting puzzle-solving and bizarre scenario spread by word-of-mouth. It has since been adapted into an animated TV series in 2006, a live-action movie, and a variety of other media.
In October 2020, it will be adapted again as a new project, "Higurashi When They Cry," and it has been announced that it will not be a remake, but a completely new work.

The anime song artist Ayane, who was in charge of the ending theme "God's Syndrome," is also in charge of the new ending theme "Irregular Entropy" for "Higurashi When They Cry Industry," which is about to reach its climax.
The new single "Irregular Entropy" was just released on February 6, and an online signing event will be held.

The song is "Irregular Entropy," written and composed by Chiyomaru Shikura, who has worked on numerous Higurashi songs. The single's coupling track, "Resonant fragments," a song completely produced by Higumi Sound and led by dai-san, known to fans for his signature song "you," and originally included in "Higurashi When They Cry ~Mawari~," is included on the CD for the first time.

In addition, the CD also includes the image song "Twilight Monologue," composed by Chiyomaru Shikura with lyrics by Ayane herself based on the image of "Higurashi When They Cry. The jacket illustration is Satoko Hojo, drawn by Akio Watanabe, the character designer of "Higurashi When They Cry Industry".
